How SocialCourts collects, uses, shares, and protects information for badminton clubs, sessions, participants, and hosts.
Overview
SocialCourts helps badminton clubs publish sessions, manage participants and waitlists, and support host-controlled club workflows.
This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it to operate the service.
Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you use SocialCourts.
- Player information such as display name, session registration status, waitlist status, join order, cancellation state, and optional account link.
- Host and account information such as name, email address, profile image, authentication provider, role, session token metadata, IP address, and user agent.
- Club and session information such as club name, slug, visibility, venue, address, timezone, schedule, capacity, fixed players, member roles, invitations, and session history.
- Finance and match information when a club uses those features, including cost items, settlement amounts, payment status labels, fee categories, match records, and fund ledger entries.
How we use information
We use information to provide the core product hierarchy of clubs, sessions, participants, and waitlists.
We also use information to authenticate hosts, protect restricted areas, support club administration, maintain deterministic roster and finance records, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
Visibility and sharing
Session rosters, display names, registration states, waitlists, and related session details may be visible to people who can access the relevant club or session link.
Hosts and authorized club members may see additional club, session, participant, finance, invitation, and membership information needed to manage their club.
We use infrastructure and authentication providers such as Cloudflare and Google to run the app and support sign-in.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use SocialCourts for targeted advertising.
Payments
SocialCourts may help a club record session costs, settlement amounts, and payment status labels.
SocialCourts does not process card payments, bank transfers, wallets, or other financial transactions in the current product.
Cookies and authentication
SocialCourts uses cookies and similar browser storage where needed for language preferences, authentication sessions, security, and app operation.
If you use Google sign-in, Google may provide basic account information such as name, email address, and profile image according to the Google sign-in flow.
Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain session history, resolve support requests, secure accounts, and comply with applicable obligations.
To request access, correction, or deletion, contact support@socialcourts.com. Some historical session records may need to be retained to preserve club, roster, finance, or audit integrity.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the size and nature of the service.
No online service can guarantee perfect security, so you should avoid adding sensitive personal information that is not needed to run a badminton session.
Children
SocialCourts is not designed for children to use without supervision from a parent, guardian, club host, or responsible adult.
If you believe a child has provided information that should be removed, contact support@socialcourts.com.
