Terms of Service

The rules for using SocialCourts to manage badminton clubs, sessions, participants, waitlists, and host workflows.

Acceptance

By using SocialCourts, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you use SocialCourts for a club, you are responsible for making sure your club use follows these terms and applicable rules.

Service purpose

SocialCourts helps badminton groups replace chat-based join lists with shared session links, clear participant state, waitlists, and host-controlled recurring sessions.

The product hierarchy is club, sessions, participants, and waitlist.

Accounts and access

Players need an account to join or cancel their own session registration. Hosts may create anonymous participants when they manage a roster manually.

Hosts, managers, admins, and account users are responsible for keeping sign-in access secure and for activity performed through their account.

Club and host responsibilities

Hosts are responsible for accurate club, venue, schedule, capacity, fixed player, invitation, membership, finance, and session information.

Hosts should only add participant names, fixed players, members, and invitees when they have a reasonable basis to do so for club operations.

Participant and roster rules

Participant lists are designed to be shared with people who have access to the relevant club or session link.

Registration order, waitlist order, cancellations, and host edits may affect whether a player is confirmed or waitlisted.

Finance and payments

SocialCourts may record costs, settlement amounts, payment status labels, match fees, and club fund ledger entries.

SocialCourts does not process payments in the current product, and clubs remain responsible for real-world payment collection, reconciliation, refunds, and disputes.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse SocialCourts, interfere with the service, impersonate others, scrape data without permission, upload unlawful content, or use the service to harm clubs, players, hosts, or the platform.

You must not use SocialCourts to collect sensitive personal information that is not needed to operate a badminton club or session.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of SocialCourts as the product evolves.

We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Suspension and removal

We may restrict, suspend, or remove access when needed to protect users, clubs, the service, or legal compliance.

Disclaimers

SocialCourts is provided as a club and session coordination tool.

Hosts and clubs remain responsible for venue rules, player safety, attendance decisions, financial collection, and any offline arrangements.
